POSITION:       Transport and Logistics Officer

staffiX is a company specialized in the field of recruitment and selection of staff.We’re looking for an energetic and highly-ambitious Transport and Logistics Officer to join our client’s Transportation Company. He/she would be responsible for organizing and implementing the service of sea and air transport of cargo from the point of origin to the final destination point.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with suppliers about orders for new shipments, while maintaining communication with clients regarding specific service requests
• Organize transport with the most suitable suppliers
• Manage client interactions, from delivering price proposals to securing offer acceptance
• Monitor the progress of the transport process, including solving problems during transport, coordinating with customs agencies, and tracking/filing the relevant documentation during the operation
• Prepare and track the cargo manifest to the finance department according to the offer accepted by the client
• Track the reports of completed transports

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in operations management, business or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in the same sector or in the sales or procurement roles
• Excellent communication skills in English and Albanian, in both written and oral
• Excellent knowledge on Excel and other MS office formats
• Outstanding organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Very good customer service and communication

OFFER:

• Salary around €1,200 +/- based on qualification and experience
• Working hours 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
