Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Scientist to design, implement, and optimize AI/Generative AI-powered features for large-scale unstructured data. The role involves leading research, evaluating new AI technologies, developing prototypes, and collaborating on AI-driven product enhancements. Ideal candidates have a PhD or Master's in Computer Science, extensive experience with LLMs, Python, ETL pipelines, and a strong research background with published work.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, implement new features powered by AI, Generative AI, ML technologies applied to large volumes of unstructured data.
• Extend and optimize existing AI/ML features.
• Design and implement prototypes of new features, evaluate their effectiveness and work on iterative improvements based on feedback.
• Work with the product team on developing suggestions for new AI-based functionality.
• Lead experimental evaluation of new features and of extensions of existing features.
• Lead research and evaluation of latest AI/Generative AI based technologies.
• Design data validation, unit tests and integration tests to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and share best practices, collaborate on maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements and Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, ML technologies.
• Work experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering and model fine-tuning.
• Research experience and publication record.
• Extensive knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) data processing pipelines for large volumes of unstructured data, efficient data structures.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• A team player.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Mandatory Requirement

The position does not allow collaboration under Business-to-Business (B2B) contract arrangements. Candidates must be willing to enter into a standard employment relationship, fully aligned with current labor laws and regulations.

Education & Experience

• PhD or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4+ years of work experience as an ML Scientist.
• Work experience with unstructured data.
• 3+ years of work experience with LLMs.
• Research experience and publication record.
• 4+ years of work experience with programming in Python, and with AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
